Jim, thanks for the words of affirmation. Glad to provide some inspiration. Seriously, though, I'm looking forward to talking with you about the idea of sponsoring a young person to go on mission to Cuba. Given your feelings about Marxism, I'm sure you are glad for an opportunity to support spreading the gospel in a country that has been for so long under authoritarian Marxist rule. Give me a call!

Janet, I'm sure the concert is going to be great! Wish we could be there. And I'm excited that y'all are helping send some young folks to Peace Camp. Blessings on your work.

beautiful thought, especially the part about karl marx, it reminds me of his brothers. Harpo, Groucho, Zeppo and the gang! Truly inspiring, maybe we can get the Occupy kingston, Occupy Asheville and Occupy Providence together for a peace rally!!!!!!! We can get buddha, mohammed and the gang together, now that would be a peace camp for sure!!!!!!!!

This Pastoral Passage takes me once again to the Baptist Peacemakers of RI in the planning and seeing to fruition of its first concert to raise funds to send one or two people to Peace Camp--two who do not have the financial means to attend. People who are not even part of this group have come forth to give generously of themselves to help with publicity and the preparation of refreshments for after the concert. I hope the Occupy Providence people will attend. Although we are asking a donation of $10 for adults (children free), no one will be turned away.
Thanks for the inspiring message, Stan. May your artesian well spring up to overflowing!
